Mary Fisher has nearly 30 years of experience in commercial litigation and litigation management related to financial services, real estate, and creditors’ rights matters as well as in general business, contract and commercial lending transactions.

Mary began her career in litigation with large national law firms in New York City and New Jersey. Mary moved from the private practice of law to become in-house counsel to a large regional bank and later, to a nationwide mortgage and consumer lending company, where she managed litigation and advised her in-house clients on a broad range of business matters. She returned to private practice in 2009, working with EG&A clients on a wide range of real estate, foreclosure, collection, lending-related, title, bankruptcy, and general commercial matters, in litigation as well as transactional matters. She is a trusted business counselor and advisor to clients and senior level executives working to achieve business objectives. She enjoys the diversity of the EG&A’s practice and clients, and is impressed by the unique expertise each of her colleagues brings to the firm’s practice.

Mary was born in Toms River, New Jersey, and spent 17 years in New York City as a college and law student, and as a paralegal and attorney, before moving back to her home state in 1996. Mary majored in Economics at Barnard College/Columbia University and is a graduate of Columbia Law School.
