Bernadette has significant experience in Creditors’ Rights, Real Estate & Mortgage Foreclosure Litigation, and Title Curative Issues for both national and regional financial institutions. She has developed a practice of counseling clients to allow them to make practical and economical business decisions to initiate, defend or settle claims. She is aware of the financial realities of litigation and has structured a creative approach to litigation to suit the circumstances of her clients’ needs.
She graduated from Temple University with a Business Degree majoring in Risk Management & Insurance and Legal Studies. While in law school at Widener University Bernadette participated in a clinical externship with Delaware Volunteer Legal Services, Wills for Heroes, and received a Certificate of Achievement in Insurance Law.
During her last year of law school, Bernadette participated in the First Judicial District’s Fellowship Program where she worked for The Honorable Paul P. Panepinto, where she was exposed to several practice areas in civil law such as Landlord Tenant, Land Use and Zoning, and Code Enforcement. The experience gave her a meaningful understanding of civil procedure and courtroom etiquette.
Bernadette has effectively represented clients in all levels of court in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She has also successfully litigated appeals in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey Appellate Divisions. She is a member of the New Jersey and Pennsylvania bar, as well as the Federal District Courts of New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania.
A resident of South Philadelphia, Bernadette is a passionate Philadelphia sports fan. In her free time, she enjoys heading to a game or to going down the Jersey Shore.
